The Hobby Store in Mount Vernon, NY hosted race #2 for the RCMTRA RENEGADES series. 9 Monsters were on hand to do battle on a tight j-hook course on carpet which produced some close exciting racing all day long. The monsters ran 9 rounds of racing along with a concourse competition. Also a trademark feature of the Renegades tour is the show-n-shine event where Special tricked out RC vehicles were brought out for a concourse event.

High Flyin' Bigfoot
The Brand new DRCR CHEVY THUNDER made it's debut this weekend. This is the first non-replica createad name truck with a paint scheme designed by Dan DeFalco. The trcuk had some solid passes using the infamous former grave digger txt-1 chassis, however a broken U-Joint on the rear drive shaft late in the day hindered the truck's performance.
