After several delays and cancellations, the RCMTRA would finally hold it's season finale for the RENEGADES divison and it would mark the return to the hobby store in Mount Vernon NY to decide the championship. Dan DeFalco and the DRCR team brought something special for todays finale, it was a one race deal and it was the TRAXXAS TMAXX MONSTER TRUCK. T-MAXX lost rear drive early on in the event but still managed to win 2 rounds in 3 final round apperances! The points battle would be between DRCR's Bigfoot against Grave Digger. Dan DeFalco had strong runs all day long and looked to be on the path to a repeat win here at the hobby store however turning poles plagued the digger all day, and it would not be enough to catch Kyle DeFalco in Bigfoot. Kyle would survive the event and hold on to the series points championship, marking the team's 10th championship. The team finished the event 1-2-3 with Brian Wood and Disturbed leading the charge and bringing home 1st place. Grave Digger would follow in 2nd, and Bigfoot 3rd, it was another great day of racing. Now officially the 2006 season is done but 2007 is right around the corner and this year the biggest and baddest trucks of the RCMTRA will roll into the hobby store once again this time for the season opener!!.
