RCMTRA RENEGADES CHALLENGE
           BRUCKNER HOBBIES
For the first time the monster trucks of the RCMTRA  rolled into the Bruckner Hobbies off-road course in Nanuet, New York for the 2007 Renegades Challenge. The RCMTRA did something different this year with it's Renegades division, making it one event only for the year. Saturday's action saw 8 trucks do battle on a tight chicago style turning course, with Chad Buckland and RENEGADE grabbing a slight point lead over Anthony Luciano's RCMTRA Racer. DRCR had Dan DeFalco with Grave Digger and Raminator join the competition on sunday, unfortunatley the team had a prior comitment saturday and was out of the race for the overall weekend win, but still looked strong all day. Check out some pictures from today's event.
Normally one of the signatures of the RCMTRA Renegades series is the fast and competitive off-road racing to accompany the Monster Trucks at the event. The racing was great all day and featured 8th scale buggies, truggies, big blocks and more.
RAMIANTOR made its presence known by winning the opening round sunday.
Andrew Spragg ran into some problems with Electric Mayhem after stripping the wheel in the late rounds sunday.
Dan DeFalco's Grave Digger recieved 3rd place for concourse. Digger will be running the 25th anniversary paint scheme to honor 25 years of Dennis Andesron and will be around for the remaining 2 events of the year.
Anthony Luciano ran strong with the RCMTRA racer and was able to grab his first event win in 6 years. Congratulations to Tony and the RCX-E MS racing team.
