When DRCR drivers Dan and Kyle DeFalco were first starting out with RC monster trucks. They ran theyre own races with radio shack/ new bright type trucks side by side on the indoor carpet downstairs. Now Pro RC monster truck racing comes to the house of DRCR as RCMTRA brought it's RC PROMT series to our Monroe NY home. Dan DeFalco constructed a classic obstacle course that USA motorsports used to run and that Monster Truck Challenge just resurected this past weekend at their event in Memphis. The track is basically a side by side oval however both trucks would make left turns instead of opposite turns in a st. louis type course. Racing was dominated by the CPE trucks Raminator, Taz and Black Smith, however the points were not there at the end of the day and and Tony Lucaino's Maximum Venom snuck up to grab the overall win. CPE would get two first time round winners this afternoon as Brian Wood would take round 1 in Taz. Dan DeFalco backed that up with a round 2 win in Raminator. Rounds 4 and 5 were won by Kyle DeFalco's Black Smith. Max Venom won round 3 with Dan DeFalco sub driving in the final round!, so the team's drviers were really dialed in today. CPE however did not place top 3 in overall after the most semi final and final round apperances...But it was a strong day of testing for the terminator as the season comes closer to the world finals.
