Racing was tough and competitive all weekend long. The right hander chicago style course made it challenging for all the racers. Right off the bat, it was Kyle DeFalco mounting a strong charge early with the Airforce Afterburner. after taking the first round Kyle kept the moementum going. Dan DeFalco was right behind with the Amsoil Shock Therapy, keeping it consistent and moving up through the brackets all weekend long. After the first day of racing, Afterburner had a sizeable lead over Shock Therapy, the second day would decide it all. Day two saw an early Shock therapy win over Airfoce Afterburner, Kyle then started experienceing late problems with the gears, but that was not enough to slow him down. Kyle DeFalco would continue on to sucessfully defend his racing championship and would win the 2008 World Finals Racing championship!!!!. Dan DeFalco would bring home Shock Therapy in second. The race for 3rd place points was the best battle of the weekend. Anthony Luciano and his famed Maximum Venom truck found himself in a weekend long battle with the Wood brothers trucks Taz and Devious. Keith in Devious fell into some late trouble towards the end of the weekend, where Brian would fight a hard fought battle with the Taz monster truck to secure 3rd place for the weekend. Dan DeFalco's Grave Digger had an uncharacteristicly rough world finals.
The CPE Amsoil Shock Therapy had a strong racing debut with a second place finish.
Wild racing action here with Devious and Tomb of Doom. the third place points race heated up when Keith and Tony squared off in the early rounds on day one. Devious edged out the win where Tony in T.O.D gets crossed up and fights the truck back down for the save.
Keith Wood finds himself here in a tricky situation when racing the Devious chevrolet. Miraculously Keith brought it back down on all fours!!!!
Peter Spragg finds himself in trouble with the RC Monster Motorsports Obsession after losing control and colliding with the protection fence. Fortunately for Peter, no major damage was sustained to the truck.
