The deadend cemetery is back as the RCMTRA returned to Barnstormers RC Raceway for the 2008 RCMTRA World Finals. Along with the Halloween Havoc theme, the monsters had a challenging chicago style racing course to compete on. Why was this chicago style track different?? because this time the trucks would be making all right hand turns, which would be the X factor in this weekends racing competition. Also the monsters battled it out in an all out freestyle for the title of freestyle champ in 2008. The weekend started off with truck introductions, and when Grave Digger came out to round out the intros by rolling over after the opening jump, the drivers already knew that this course was going to be a hard one to handle. DRCR driver Dan DeFalco was making a big debut at this year's finals, Dan debuted the AMSOIL Shock Therapy chevrolet. This body appeared on the current CPE raminator chassis and is a collaboration of support from Crawford Performance Engineering, AMSOIL, and Sudden Impact Racing. Thee body was the first of it's kind ever to appear, and is a kick off of things to come body wise from CPE. Team, driver and sponsors were looking for a big showing out of this truck today.
Also another big debut at this year's finals was the much anticipated debut of the official body that Kyle DeFalco will be running on his CPE sponsored terminator. The truck is now MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION as made famous by Tom Meents on the real monster jam racing circuit. This truck ran as Black Smith all season.
